Where can I get a VW camper van from?
An often-asked question. VW doesn’t make the camper van anymore, although there is a camper version of the VW T5.
For older VW campervans such as the bay wondow and T25 you can find them on Ebay Motors for less than $10,000 and there are loads of specialist sites selling VW campers and large cities often have informal sales where people gather to sell campervans. BUT there are loads of models and variants - so do your homework first.

New ones are extremely expensive. You can find older ones from the 70's and early 80's. Look in Craigslist and Ebay.

If in UK, Autotrader is a good site (or magazine).
They don't make new ones, so if you buy one, the chances are it will need quite a lot of work doing to it, which you should allow for in your budget.
My stepson bought one, and it it costing him a lot to make it roadworthy. I think he exported it from U.S.A.
These vehicles are very trendy at the moment, which means high demand and high prices.

Those camper vans hold their value … and .. even for older ones … 1980s … they normally average about 5000. Check the current and ended prices for them on Ebay. Also, check craigslist ….. and .. normally … most areas have a trading times magazine for local deals ….

Dont waste your money unless you are a welder I have had loads but for the money you will nead to pay for a decent one you could buy a good mazda bongo for they are better to drive they have heaters do more mpg.look about first,dont rush in.
