Part 1 - Un-Completed : VW Split Interior Project. This is a 1967 type 2 camper. I’ve owned it since 1995 and only just got around to working on the interior. Its now finished but it took me 4 months end to end to complete. Look here for the finished video http://www.symplest.com/VW-Split-Interior-Project.html
This is the first time I’d ever taken the engine out of my Bus (or anything else for that matter) so thought I’d video the whole shebang and share it, uncut in glorious 1000 times speed! All it took was three blokes, 16 hours of work/head scratching/swearing and many (MANY) mugs of tea.
If you’re thinking of re-building the engine of your VW campervan, here’s a good guide on getting started. It’s an aircooled engine so will be good reference for those of you with Type 2 VW campervans.
