Bay Window Camper - with grafted on caravan
There are many bespoke and short run productions of vw campervan internal fitments, carried out by coachwork companies and garages.
There are also a number of examples of caravan adaptations, most often on later vw camper van models such as the vw t25 camper. This is a South African model from 1976. We’ll be tracking down more examples of caravan bodies and RV adaptations in future posts.

Often VW bay window campers look fine on the surface - but rounfd the wheel arches, all along the lower panels and engine bay, rust can be a major problem. This one took a years work to get it back on the road.
